On October 5 & 6 you can discover the world of science and technology at Naturalis, Rijksmuseum Boerhaave, Leiden University of Applied Sciences and SRON, among others.
During the Weekend of Science, visitors get a unique look behind the scenes at organizations and are allowed to visit places that are normally not visible to the public. They meet real scientists. See restorers at work in a museum. And do experiments in laboratories.
The Weekend of Science is suitable for (almost) all ages. We focus on families with children between 8 and 14 years old, but everyone can discover for themselves what the wonderful world of science and technology has to offer.
