Michael Moore 'Universe Quartet'

With this quartet, which in addition to Moore also consists of Guillermo Celano on guitar, Omer Govreen on double bass and Onno Govaert on drums, Moore plays both new and old compositions, with influences from jazz and improv. Michael Moore combines the best of different worlds: the finesse of the American jazz tradition, the anarchy of the New Dutch Swing and the idiosyncrasy of folk music from all over the world. The California-born reed player is active in the Amsterdam jazz scene as a composing member of ICP Orchestra, as leader of his own bands and as owner of the Ramboy label.
